Yet there were not just Sabbath days, but also Sabbath years, and we consider these, along with the Year of Jubilee. Finally, we consider the festivals on the New Moons, and why these were celebrated, to finish off our study of the Feasts of the LORD.

Then, considering the Feast of Firstfruits and what is taught about this celebration in the Old Testament.

PA238 Feasts of the LORD 2 – The Lord’s Supper mp3

Feasts of the LORD Series 2

In this message, we continue our study of the first and greatest of the feasts of the LORD, the LORD’s Passover. Now we consider it from the New Testament perspective, and the great Passover the Lord Jesus celebrated with His disciples before His death. How does this relate to what Paul says about it and the Lord’s supper in the book of I Corinthians?

PA237 Feasts of the LORD 1 – Passover mp3

PA236 Things That Differ 4 – The Kingdom and Prophets mp3

Things That Differ Series 4

In this message, we conclude our study of things that differ between the Acts Period and God’s current work in the Dispensation of Grace. We consider the gift of prophecy, which was still active in the Acts Period, versus today when we are shut up to the Word. Then, meats were unclean to one who considers them unclean in the Acts Period, whereas today all foods are made clean by the word of God. Marriage was temporarily discouraged in the Acts period, whereas it is encouraged today. In the Acts Period, Paul taught nothing but what Moses and the prophets said would come, whereas in the Dispensation of Grace Paul taught a new period not made known in any past revelation of God. Finally, in the Acts period the full Kingdom of God was near, whereas today the Kingdom is suspended until a far future date. Let us learn these important differences, in order to understand God’s works and ways today.

PA235 Things That Differ 3 – Israel mp3

Things That Differ Series 3

In this message, we continue to consider differences between the Acts period up to Acts 28:28 and the dispensation of grace we live in today. First of all, Israel was the focus versus today all nations are now joint and equal before God. Then, the law and the temple were still relevant to believers, versus now both the law and the temple are now unimportant. Rituals were still active and performed during the Acts period, whereas now all these have been done away. When we see these true differences, we realize the important need to rightly divide.

PA234 Things That Differ 2 – Miracles mp3

Things That Differ Series 2

In this message, we consider more differences between the way things were in the Acts period and the way things are today post Acts 28:28. First, we consider the working of miracles in Acts as evidential works through a mediator, versus today when miracles are done directly by God and are untraceable. We consider the Divine leading and direction that existed at that time directly from God, versus today when this is all through the written Word of God. Finally, we consider the proclaiming of the Word, which in Acts was done through apostled men, whereas today the gospel itself is apostled.

PA233 Things That Differ 1 – Leadership mp3

Things That Differ Series 1

In this message, we begin a study considering the things that differed (Philippians 1:10) in the Acts period from the way God is working today. First of all, there were then sights and sounds from heaven, whereas now there is silence. Then, there were leaders chosen and marked out by God, whereas now our leaders are chosen by men. Then, Divine punishment was active for inexcusable acts, but today God deals graciously with us. Then, they received whatever they asked, but now we are only promised the peace of God when we make our requests to Him.

PA047 Wise Men from the East mp3

In this message, we consider the story of the Wise Men in Matthew 2. Where were they from? How did they know what the star signified? When did they arrive in Israel? Where did they find the child? We examine this well-known story of the birth of Christ, and consider what the Biblical truth of it is.
