In this message, we examine submission, and the command the Lord gives us through Paul to submit to one another. Then, we consider several specific examples where submission is demanded and particularly appropriate. In all of these, however, there is a proper response, and the party that is submitted to is expected to act in a Godly way as well. First, we examine husbands and wives. Wives are to submit to their husbands, and husbands are to love their wives. The illustration of Christ and the ekklesia. Then, children and their parents. Children are to submit, but their fathers are to be careful not to provoke them to wrath.
