In this message, we examine the story of the birth of Christ from Luke 2, and the visit of the shepherds afterwards. There are many traditional ideas that are attached to this story, which many of us have learned from childhood. Yet do all these ideas have a basis in the Bible record? What can we gather about the “real” Christmas story from the Word of God?

In this message, we complete our study of the book of Joel. First, we examine the very significant passage quoted so prominently in Acts 2, regarding the outpouring of the Spirit before the great and awesome day of the LORD. Then, we have revealed for us the things the LORD is going to do as the millennium begins and He restores His blessed, kingdom conditions to the earth, and deals with those who rebelled against Him in the tribulation.

In this message, we examine the various times Paul and Barnabas’s names are used together. Is there teaching to be found in the occurrences of “Barnabas and Saul,” as well as “Paul and Barnabas”? What can we learn from the order of the two names?

In this message, we consider a story of Elisha from II Kings 4:38-41. He and the sons of the prophets make some stew, but one unknowingly cuts a poison gourd into the pot. Elisha works a miracle, and removes this death from the pot. We talk about how we can apply this to the LORD, and the work He is going to do in this world when the Kingdom comes.
